Some journeys start with an idea. Others start with a decision to act. The YUVA Internship Program is built for those who choose the latter—a structured, four-stage journey that turns passion for social change into real, measurable impact.
This isn't an internship you observe from the sidelines. It's one you build with your hands, your time, and your commitment—starting with grassroots volunteering and culminating in an initiative you lead yourself. Along the way, you'll work shoulder-to-shoulder with our State Social Work Convener and Zonal Incharges, gaining mentorship that sharpens not just your skills, but your sense of purpose.
Every hour you invest here becomes a step toward becoming the kind of leader communities actually need—someone who's walked the ground, understood the challenge, and shown up with a solution.
SEVA Path of Transformation
Four sequential leadership development stages exclusive to the Social Work (SEVA) Internship.
SUGAM (SEWA Buddy)
Your entry point into the field. 50 hours across 10 community visits, designed to immerse you in grassroots realities and build the foundation every changemaker needs—direct, unfiltered exposure to the communities you'll serve.
SAMARTH (SEWA Gen)
Step deeper in. Spend 15 days (75 hours) embedded within a dedicated Sewa Kendra, where you'll move from observer to organizer—planning and executing localized impact events that touch real lives.
SAKSHAM (SEWANOVATOR)
This is where mentorship meets momentum. Paired 1-on-1 with a dedicated mentor, you'll drive a focused 100-hour project over 20 days within an NGO or Sewa Basti—turning guidance into hands-on execution.
SRIJAN (SEWAPRENEUR)
The capstone of your journey. 150 hours to either launch a Social Initiative of your own or undergo specialized training beyond Delhi—proof that you've evolved from participant to changemaker.
